Joe Woodard, MA, LMHC
Therapist, Affiliate of Northwest Family Life
I completed my formal training as a Mental Health Counselor at The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology with a Masters in Counseling Psychology. After my time at The Seattle School, I started a private practice where I have had the honor of stepping into the lives of individuals and families who are seeking healing in their relationships and new ways of living out their stories. Through my experience with clients of all ages, I have found that underneath the wounds and scars of each individual is a person seeking to be seen with kindness and respect. Many people have experienced messages of shame that begin to convince a person that there must be something wrong about being human. In my work today with individuals and families, I seek to foster an environment that will reorder messages of shame so that people might find healing from the past, resolution in the present, and hope for the future.
