Counselor, Founder
I believe that underneath the wounds and scars of each individual is a person seeking to be seen with kindness. Kindness is often far from most people’s personal experience. On the contrary, many people experience messages of shame from those to whom they are the closest. These messages communicate that there is something wrong about being human, or there is something wrong with others.
Over time, these messages influence your relational expectations of yourself and the other person. My hope is that our time together will foster an environment where you will find healing from the past, resolution in the present, and hope for your future. At this time, that may sound like an insurmountable task. Fortunately, finding healing is not meant to be done alone. Together, with kindness and truth, we are able to step into the often broken, often wonderful, experiences that you have encountered in your life. I believe that no matter how covered by the scars from the past a person may be, each person has an innate goodness that is seeking to be nurtured and heard. It is with a care-full hearing, filled with curiosity and awe, that a person begins enter into genuine relationships with self and others.
